Jams for Dulcimers, Autoharps
and other folk instruments
Join us for Saturday afternoon
jams once a month from 1 to 3:30 pm. We’ll
be playing dulcimer standards, sharing local favorites and
learn some new tunes. Bring
your favorite tunes, tape recorder or mp3 recorder and join us.
This jam
is always an adventure. Players from five different
clubs bring their favorites to share. Learning a new
tune each month is always fun and challenging. At the
end of 2009, we worked on a duet arrangement of "Boar's Head
Carol"; a Louise Ziegler arrangement, a song of thanks, "For
All the Blessings of the Year"; and a New Year's song of
hope, "Glad New Year."
We will
bringing another new tune to the jam on January 30. If
the weather appears to be iffy, check this website or call
the store at 419-568-1220 for the latest status of the jam.
