LIVE MUSIC at Wapak

One of Vernon’s longtime dreams has been to have his own concert hall and festival site.  In 2001, Vernon and Kitty purchased a 20,000 square foot show/retail facility in Wapakoneta, Ohio.    The concert hall, called Boatwhistle Memorial Hall in honor of Vernon’s father, can seat 500 people,  plus the property has 8 acres of level parking for festivals.  Add a food service facility operated by the fine folks at "Margaret's Kitchen" and you have all you need for a great time.

Every month brings an exciting variety of 'Live Music" to Famous Old Time Music Company at Wapakoneta and the Boatwhistle Memorial Hall.  Look for .... Indoor 'Bluegrass in the Cornfields' Concerts, Bluegrass Jams, Appalachian Opry, Bluegrass in the Cornfields Festival in July (2010), Dulcimers in the Cornfields Festival in May, Dulcimer Jams, Acoustic Music Jams and who knows what the next great idea will be.
