The Appalachian Opry |
|
This brain child of Vernon McIntyre's premiered in January, 2009. The Appalachian Opry band sets the tone with a blend of fine bluegrass and country music. Each Opry features a variety of local talent, some light-hearted comedy and always that fine acoustic music. You might hear bluegrass, old country, Irish, mountain harmonies, dulcimers, or some sing-a-longs. Don't miss Wapakoneta's answer to Hee Haw, Midwestern Hayride, and the Grand Ole Opry. With 2010, the Appalachian Opry moves into its 2nd year. Do you want to join in the fun? Musicians, singers, dancers, storytellers or anyone with a talent that lends itself to the Opry and wishing to be part of the event, contact Laura at 419-568-1220 or email, click here.
