Resuming in January, 2010 ... Friday slow jams with Kitty from 5 to 6 pm.

Slow Jam for Friday, March 12 is cancelled.

The plan is to have rehearsals weekly on Friday evenings from 5 til 6 pm at the Wapak store, 20322 US 33, Wapakoneta, OH.     Participation is $5 per session.

The SLOW JAM BAND is the group jam for you if you're new at playing with other folks.

You do need to be able to change chords fairly smoothly.  We will be playing in the keys of A, D, G, and possibly C.  Guitar players and banjo players should have a functioning capo.

Currently, the list of tunes is as follows:

D    Wildwood Flower
A    Cripple Creek
A    Old Joe Clark
G    Down Yonder
?    I'll Fly Away
G    Cumberland Gap
?    Circle Be Unbroken

Message from Kitty:  "I should confess up front that part of my plan here is to have the Slow Jam Band do a short set on stage at some point.  Sooooo, if you join us, know that is in your future.  Because of this, I would really appreciate fairly regular attendance.  We will be working up specific arrangements of the tunes and each rehearsal will build on what was covered in the previous one.  We will also practice being on stage and playing over a PA set."
