BLUEGRASS IN THE CORNFIELD FESTIVAL
Bean Soup/Potluck Carry in

Please plan on attending WOBA's second annual Bean Soup-Potluck dinner scheduled for 6pm on July 21st. This is the first day of the FOTMC Bluegrass Festival and your paid attendance will allow you to eat "free of charge". Everyone should bring their own dinner plates, silverware and a drink. The potluck is as follows: A-M should bring a dessert, while N-Z should bring a covered dish.

Last year WOBA fed 63 people, and we're shooting for 100 this year. Don't let me down folks! For those of you wishing to jam after dinner, bring your instrument and some good foot stompin' Bluegrass tunes and enjoy the evening. I promise a good dinner and a good time. HOT DOG WIENIE ROAST and Jam Night

Western Ohio Bluegrass Association is hosting a Wienie Roast & Jam on Saturday, June 12.

Business meeting scheduled for 5 pm in Margaret's Kitchen. Come and join us for the meeting, then stick around for the Hot Dog Roast and Outdoor Jam.

We'll be making decision on the door prizes and raffles that we'll be involved with during the Festival. Come join us and give us your ideas for door prizes. All members will eat free while non-members will be charged a small fee of $2.00 to eat. Bring your favorite lawn chair, drink and a hot dog stick (if you have one), sit back and enjoy the evening. If you have an idea that the Association should consider for support, we'd be interested in hearing all about it.

For those of you wishing to spend the night, a $10 fee will be charged for those wanting an electric hook-up. Other then that, it's a free night. This is a rain or shine event. In case of rain, we'll simply move indoors.

Music Day WOBA's sponsored day to explore and promote bluegrass music at Famous Old Time Music Company.

"Explore the World of Bluegrass" - Explore instruments 9 to 10am; Intro to Bluegrass Band 10 to 10:30am for the newbie - no charge. For more information, click here.
