Vinoklet Winery has regrouped after last weekend’s rain and is looking forward to their CAN’T STOMP US festival, this Saturday, September 15! It will be a full day of family fun with lots of Music, Food, and Wine. The Can’t Stomp Us festival starts at noon with Vinoklet’s famous Fried Chicken Special and bluegrass by Vernon McIntyre’s Appalachian Grass. Afternoon entertainment includes classic rock with Out on Bond and Vinoklet’s annual Grape Stomping, hosted by Chris and Janeen of WGRR radio (that ought to be a hoot!). Grilled to Perfection dinner offered from 5pm til 8pm (reservations required). Evening musical entertainment provided by Second Wind with ‘horn-charged Rock and Roll Soul’. Of course, wine tasting goes on all day; make sure to sample some of Vinoklet’s award winning product. Be there or be square!

Located at 19189 Pennington Rd, Metamora, IN 47030, the Opry Barn is a renovated tomato canning factory! It is a neat venue in a beautiful setting. House band at 6pm; Appalachian Grass at 7pm. Good for available on site. Admission $8.
